// A TIME & A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING

Find out how much this design for the 2012 Olympics cost here...

// REAL FAKE WATCHES

Get It? They are 100% real fake watches, each one is laser cut from three pieces of genuine leather and manually assembled. they are fastened with velcro. each one comes with both a unique time (hand-picked by our randomizer robot and accurate 1 to 2 times a day) and a thinglink engraved on the back. BTW: Thinglink.org is an open database where makers can register their work for free and create labels for their products. crafters, artists, designers, producers, and other makers can use thinglink to identify their products and document their work. website for the watches here and more nice pics here at their flickr photoset....

// JACK GODFREY WOOD

In Jacks words "£used is a plug that aims to reduce domestic electricity use by making users aware of the financial implications of their current energy usage habits. Each plug shows the projected cost of an appliance if it was used in its current state for a year" It's a great idea and has already won a couple prestigious awards, I hope GE licences the idea and Jack sells a million units......more about Jack and his other concepts here

// FAKE KICKS

Nov 14th 2006 - German customs overlooks the destruction of fake designer shoes in Hamburg, northern Germany. German customs officers have seized what they said could be the world’s largest haul of counterfeit goods, including nearly 1 million pairs of ‘knock-off’ Nike sneakers. The customs department in the northern port of Hamburg said it had confiscated a total of 117 shipping containers filled with fake goods since the end of August. The equivalent amount of genuine branded goods would be worth about euros 383 million (US$ 490 million), it said in a statement. The goods included 101 containers loaded with 945,384 pairs of counterfeit Nike sneakers, and 10 more containers with about 105,000 pairs of fake Adidas and Puma sports shoes. Also impounded were 76,760 fake watches and 1,454 toys. more at pumatalk

// STRANGER THAN FICTION

Back in the days of Indiana Jones I decided that a movies awesomeness could be attributed by the actual title font and graphics, after watching twenty seconds of "Stranger than fiction" with with Will Ferrell and Maggie Gyllenhaal I knew I was in for a treat.The plot is pretty awesome, but the aesthetics, cinematography, sets and graphic design are so slick that I want to cry.
